Liked: The property was in a good location.
Disliked: Upon arrival after driving 7 hours at 7pm. I was notified as I was checking in that the elevator was out of order, and that my room was on the 3rd. I inquired about a room on the first floor and was told there was no vacancies on any floors. I was told I could find another hotel and the were discounted. I paid over 400$ for 3 nights so I don’t think there was a discount but I feel the should be. Again I was tired and ready to settle, and I was told by the customer behind me who was equally dissatisfied that it was a World series in Waxahachie and it was going to be difficult to find a hotel. My dissatisfaction is with customer service and communication. The elevator has been out for 3 weeks. I would have preferred being told this prior check in so I could have made reservations somewhere else. A VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!

Customer Service Was Bad, Great...

Liked: Distance to where I was going was within 15 minutes away, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast did offer some hot options, and the common areas were pretty clean.
Disliked: The rep (Shana?) who checked me in did not greet me, did not stand up, was eating nuts, and talking to me with food in her mouth. The elevator was out. The housekeeper doing breakfast duty did not wash hands, did not wear gloves, and never refilled anything on the line. The rep (Heavy set, Black woman, kinky curly lace front wig) who checked me out did not stand up, did not greet me, was eating and watching something loudly on her phone, and lied about not being able to provide a receipt.

Liked: Room was clean
Disliked: No elevators. Ice machine was broken

Overall; disappointed.

Liked: The size of the room was spacious.
Disliked: The elevator had been out for over a week without any attempt to remedy the situation. The original room we booked was Non-Smoking and ended up smelling like smoke. Also, the pool had a lot of debris that hadn't been cleaned out of it.

Poor facility design and essential...

Liked: Room was clean,the bed was comfortable, and good air conditioning worked well.
Disliked: The hotel was built with only 1 elevator instead of 2 and it was out of order for more tan a week. Therefore we had to climb the stairs for 3 floors with our luggage which did not work for us and many other people- there was no extra staff help available to help with luggage. PI know of some seniors that went this facility to go to another hotel
