La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Vancouver

Liked: Clean.
Disliked: Short staffed; check in time was 3 and we got there at 4:15 and they were still cleaning rooms, so guests had to wait to check in.

Everything about the Quinta Inn was great, except for the receptionist who seemed bothered to have to give me any kind of information. That said, the accommodations were nice; we were close to several dining options and we were close to the concert venue.

Liked: Comfortable beds.
Disliked: The receptionist.

Clean, quiet and friendly.

Liked: Very nice people; stayed on telephone while I put the proper address into my GPS - yes(!), I was lost.

Great and amazing hotel. Very good service. Hotel staff was very polite and professional.

Front desk had kids back behind the desk - seemed overwhelmed. Wrong room and keys given to me several times; 45 minutes just to check in due to the mess.

Liked: Bed comfy.
Disliked: I was given two rooms with people already in them - the third room finally worked after going up and down the elevator getting different keys and rooms - woke a man up. Totally embarrassing.

The towels hanging in our bathroom had quarter size holes in them; 3 of the 4 towels in our room. The washcloths you could see through and I really couldn't believe the were in my bath! The girl who was doing the night duty was too busy flat ironing her hair and talking on the phone than to go and clean up the bathroom on the main floor. I was there for a cheerleading competition and also a dog show was staying there. One of the dogs pooped and it was tracked in to the bath and it took her over an hour to clean it up. Like I said she was more interested in doing her hair and talking on the phone. There were 10-12 girls bonding - talking and enjoying some down time after a hard day, in the lobby by the fireplace and she made more than one comment that shouldn't they be heading to their rooms soon - like it's any of her business. They were sitting by the fire. We mentioned it to the staff in the morning (one implied she was management) when we were leaving and they said "yeah we kinda already know about that". Had I been the manager I would have been a little more, "thank you for bringing it to our attention, we will look into it". Not "oh, yeah that has happened before"!

Liked: It was close to the venue and convenient.
Disliked: I never thought I would have to bath/dry off with towels worse than the ones I use to dry my dogs at home.

I was satisfied with the hotel - nice, clean, new and comfortable.

Liked: Room was spacious, clean and new. It was a pleasant surprise. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: There was a connecting room next door - their TV was up loud late at night but that is not your fault.

A very nice young man at the front desk helped us twice on the Saturday night of our stay. I would like to commend him. Everything was clean and tidy; the ambiance was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this inn.
