Liked: This La Quinta hotel was the worst hotel experience I think I have ever had. I understood that it was in a somewhat run-down area, but I thought that if it was La Quinta, I could trust that it would be acceptable. It was HORRIBLE. Staff, other guests (who mainly seemed to be permanent residents in some type of low-cost housing for poor people).
Disliked: I stayed there 2 nights, a Thursday and a Saturday. On Thursday, when I got there, I spoke with the girl at the front desk. It was only seconds l realized she wasn't talking to me. She was on the phone with a friend using airpods, and couldn't be bothered to talk to a guest she was supposedly helping. I got to my room. It was old and chipped and not very clean. I had trouble finding a light that worked. There was no security swing bar on the door. Part of it had come out of the door because the screws had stripped. I went to lower the window shade, and pulled the chain, and it immediately broke. I tried to lower the shade manually, and after tugging on it, the whole apparatus came crashing down on my head. The bed was okay. The next morning, there wasn't much for breakfast other than muffins, and cereal and apples. I ended up going through the drivethru at McDonalds. The shower curtain bottom was about 2 or 3 inches higher than the tub wall and the curtain rod curved out, leaving a curtain that dangled several inches out from the tub with no way to make the water stay in the tub. After a quick shower, the bathroom floor was flooded, even though I tried to limit the water. I had to use about all the towels to soak up the water.On Saturday (the 2nd night I stayed) I was denied a handicapped room, telling me "People who book for a month or more get the rooms first. I realized that this hotel seems to be a low-cost permanent residence for homeless or poor people. The people I passed in the hallways didn't look like normal hotel guests. The room above was horrible, with small children running, stomping their feet well past midnight.

Great Stay.

Liked: It was a great stay the staff was friendly, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. This hotel saved my trip from a last minute hotel change and best of all, wi-fi was excellent.
Disliked: Wish the fitness room was open, but it was under renovation.

Disliked: Bathroom had mold, the mattress was dirty and used!!! Other guest had their car windows busted and broken into.
