La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sunrise

We had a pleasant stay at La Quinta.

Liked: Hotel seems updated in a nice modern style. I like the laminate floors in bath and sink areas.
Disliked: Some parts of the property have not been updated. There were torn cushions on several pieces of furniture.

Disliked: I want you to know that I have stayed at several of their hotels and this one by far was the filthiest I’ve ever encountered. We drove 6 hours to say our goodbyes to my britherinlaw as he is in hospice. I chose your hotel because of past experiences. When I arrived I was immediately greeted through the kiosk. I thanked the woman who let us check in around 1:00 ish and briefly told her that alone took a stressor off of us. We immediately dropped our bags and went to be with family but I did notice that the hallways/floor and room was dingy but I didn’t think anything more of it. We came back to the room and I went to freshen up and noticed hair in the bath sink. Then I went to wipe my mouth and there was a stain on the hand towel, no, I did not take a picture. I then proceeded to kind of look at the sheets. No hair, however, stains, on both beds. I literally slept in my clothes. The room made me feel gross. This morning I went to take a shower and there was hair in the tub drain and the shelf that holds the green soap had green residue in it so clearly this room was not cleaned or even looked at. I could go more because I slept with the lights on due to the filthy appearance of this room so I could not sleep comfortably at all. I feel that something should be done about this.
