La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sturbridge

I stayed at this Quality Inn for the 2nd time and I have to say it was great! I always try to make it a point to stay at Quality Inns because I have always been pleased. Very clean, friendly staff which includes the girls that clean the rooms. The breakfast is also perfect - fresh coffee and a healthy choice to pick from. I also sleep very well. Most of all it is aways quiet. I will keep going back. There is a nice choice of restaurants in the area, especially the Publick House - gotta try it. I usually sleep in town when there is entertainment going on at the Mill Street Brews.

Disappointing

Liked: 1. No tissues in the room.2. Ants inthe bathroom3. No noise policy; someone speaking very loudly in the main corridor adjacent to our room from midnight until 3am.4. All the lights in the room were very bright!

Liked: Breakfast was adequate. Location was close to Mass Pike and easily accessible. Bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The floor was very sticky.

Worst stay ever!

Liked: Construction noise after 10pm! Staff talking loudly enough to keep from sleeping at 1am. Worst stay anywhere!
Disliked: CONSTRUCTION NOISE PAST 10PM

Liked: Just a honest go over of the vibe. Was a good experience. Room was mostly clean. Floor was a little sticky in some spots. Not sure if that’s lack of cleaning or type of cleaner used. Most of the linens were clean, some light colored stains on the outer blankets. Some dust build up on a few spots here and there. A few maintenance issues. The front door was split in half, I can see attempts were made to fix it but ultimately they decided to leave it as is and sell the room anyway (btw if this review gets to the GM, I bet your maintenance guy is begging for the help/funds to replace the door, just listen to them it’s not repairable without replacing half the door anyway) not really a overall effect to the stay but something that almost everyone I know would notice quite a few visible patches that weren’t sanded well on the walls and just painted over anyway. Low water pressure from the bathroom fixtures (I know there’s not much that can be done about that; just inconvenient) The only real issue that affected our stay was that the upper wall to the left of the tv and the desk lights did not work, as well as the outlet cluster to the right of the tv.Didn’t mention this to the staff because we ended up using the outlets by the beds. Honestly the issues you would expect from a wyndham property. Good place to rack, sleep, and go. Not really a place I’m sending family to stay while visiting, or vacationing too.Breakfast was as expected. Something of substance for free. Some fruit, muffins, waffles, and just an easy breakfast. Staff seemed to run that well both days and were polite. From the group of friends I was with the overall consensus from the 4 of us split between 2 rooms was that they would rack here to visit the area for our hobbies, or while on long road trips. Staff were super friendly and sociable. It was nice chatting with them .Solid 7/10 for a place to sleep.
