Liked: Breakfast was good but very basic. No eggs were served for breakfast they just had sausage and biscuits with gravy beyond the basics. But the breakfast area was very well run and attended to by staff. They had bananas but no oranges. Apples were the alternative. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet so that was nice. The staffed was very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The ice machine on the second floor where I stayed did not work while I was there and was fixed at the end of my stay. I was able to use the ice machine on the first floor which was in an area not next any rooms so that was probably better. The pool water was not heated. I realize this is the case in most hotels but I stayed at a Comfort Inn on this trip that had a heated in-door pool. The pool was open until 11:00 which was nice.

Liked: They had a great pet rate, and it was next to Walmart.
Disliked: The swimming pool deck had built-in drainage that was not working, so there was a lot of water on the pool deck, which is unsafe. The grass in the pet area was to tail for my dog to walk through with his wheelchair.

Disliked: Booking .com mistakenly booked me at the Springfield IL site when I was trying to stay at the Springfield MA site. when I realized this unfortunately the day of travel I phoned twice and spoke to the same individual. I was told there was no manager on site and basically you are screwed and HaHa we can charge you through booking but we have already re-booked the room so we made $ off of you. I didn't catch the error since didn't look closely at reservation confirmation which just boldly said Sprinfield since not a vacation but a hotel visit for a surgery for my son. So I ended up paying $ I don't have to stay in Springfield MA (by the way their hotel personnel are lovely)-they told me Wyndham would fix this and gave me the corporate number. Unfortunately the corporate person barely spoke interest and refused to help me also. So I also paid for a room in Springfield IL that I didn't use.

Liked: We've stayed here 2 times this year. Clean accomodations and great staff. Good breakfast!!
Disliked: The toilet seat in our room was very loose...mentioned to staff....
