A once nice hotel that...

Disliked: I have stayed at this hotel often over the years. My stays have always been fine until this year. My November 2024 stay was met with bed bugs. I understand that this can happen in a hotel, so all I asked for was another room. When I got to that room and pulled back the sheets, the sheets were stained. They were washed, but still stained. I had stained sheets during a September stay too, but I let it slide. Two stays in a row with stained sheets. The bed bugs and then stained sheets was enough for me. I told them I was leaving. They charged me for two more nights because of their “cancellation policy”. Had they performed a quick check of how many times I stayed at the hotel over the years, they would have quickly noticed I was a long-time repeat customer. Repeat customers was not a concern and they charged me for two more nights. The manager actually asked me if I had a picture of the bed bugs. The bites on my skin (which are obvious bed bug bites) was not sufficient, Maintenance has been lacking this year on this property.

Great

Liked: Everything was nice it would of been better if they had the pool area open longer or maybe even had hot tubs in the rooms but was great
Disliked: The elevator sounded like it was about to fall apart. Parking could of been better as well. Not very much space or had maybe a covered smoking area

Great stay

Liked: Friendliness of staff, free breakfast, heated pool, comfortable bed, Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the shower. Very clean. Well decorated, beautiful lobby.
Disliked: Did not enjoy the fan on the window unit constantly blowing cool air moving the curtains (Pushing buttons did nothing.) It was not worth mentioning during the stay but a small annoyance.

Housekeeping needs to do better!

Liked: Love the location and the staff are friendly
Disliked: Upon arriving to the room the first thing I noticed was lotion in a big puddle on the bathroom counter. Also a puddle of conditioner on the shower floor. The top blanket was very dirty had to ask for a new one. There were dead stink bugs in the window seal. Food in the mini fridge . They had the heat turned up as high as it could go. It was so very hot. I ended up going over to Walmart across the parking lot and buying cleaning supplies to clean my room and bathroom. When we talk to front desk in the morning he said there was nothing he could do about and told me to have a nice day.....

Stay was okay

Disliked: The sheets and the rooms didn’t seem to be cleaned well. Looks like they surface cleaned and not change the sheets between guest.

It was fine

Disliked: Kitchen staff needed more help. One lady to do everything was unacceptable. She had a very hard time keeping up with food and coffee. Also, hard boiled eggs and no hot eggs is a turnoff. Gravy for biscuits was cold - warmer probably not working.
