La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seattle Downtown

Liked: My sister and I had side-by-side suites. They were very spacious and very-well appointed.
Disliked: Some early-morning construction was somewhat disturbing but we later learned that ear plugs were available at the front desk.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet hotel. Within walking distance to virtually everything.

Liked: Location was ideal.
Disliked: Water temperature fluctuated.

We arrived mid day on Amtrak and went to see if the hotel desk could hold our bags until check in time - no problem. At that time the gentleman at the desk advised we could check back in an hour or two and our room should be ready. We weren't expecting or asking for an early check in, but when we came back after a few hours we were treated very rudely, told that we should call to see if the room was ready for check instead of bothering them in person. We were quite taken aback by that! That said, it was very busy with lots of folks checking in for the Seahawks game. Otherwise everything was great! So close to liquor store, Whole Foods, great restaurants; walkable to Pioneer Square, Pike Market; quick taxi to Paramount Theatre. Front desk didn't bother to ask how our stay was upon check out, which we found odd for a business with lots of competition close by. I guess it isn't part of their shtick at check out. Although we had a good stay we would probably consider some other accommodation next time we travel to Seattle.

Liked: Location awesome; bed very comfortable; nice roomy suite.
Disliked: Encountered some rudeness from front desk staff.

Exceptional

Good location and nice room...

Liked: Location was very good, between the space nidlle and city center (15 minutes walk to each).The room is nice but a little small for 5 persons.Breakfast is quite good (for USA).
Disliked: One of the receptionist wasn't nice and didn't take care to prepare the room for 5 persons. The sofa bed wasn't ready, the extra bed was missing, not enough linen and towels. The other receptionists were very nice

Disliked: Hotel rooms in downtown Seattle are expensive - but that's downtown Seattle not the specific hotel. I would have liked the website to be clearer about there being a parking fee.

Very good

Liked: Good location, helpful staff, clean, reasonable room and parking fee (in context of a very expensive city to stay in), and bonus breakfast included.
Disliked: Rooms are a bit outdated (not a big deal). Breakfast options could be healthier.

I liked it, would stay...

Liked: Fairly priced for an awesome location thats close to downtown/Pikes place. The underground parking is great @ $20 per day. The rooms and hotel itself are somewhat grubby and worn, but compared to other hotels in this area, I can live with it.
Disliked: The breakfast available is ok. Nothing to write home about, but edible. The weirdest thing is that the plates and cutlery are at the end of the breakfast lineup, which makes zero sense to me.
