La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seattle Downtown

Liked: My sister and I had side-by-side suites. They were very spacious and very-well appointed.
Disliked: Some early-morning construction was somewhat disturbing but we later learned that ear plugs were available at the front desk.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet hotel. Within walking distance to virtually everything.

Liked: Location was ideal.
Disliked: Water temperature fluctuated.

We arrived mid day on Amtrak and went to see if the hotel desk could hold our bags until check in time - no problem. At that time the gentleman at the desk advised we could check back in an hour or two and our room should be ready. We weren't expecting or asking for an early check in, but when we came back after a few hours we were treated very rudely, told that we should call to see if the room was ready for check instead of bothering them in person. We were quite taken aback by that! That said, it was very busy with lots of folks checking in for the Seahawks game. Otherwise everything was great! So close to liquor store, Whole Foods, great restaurants; walkable to Pioneer Square, Pike Market; quick taxi to Paramount Theatre. Front desk didn't bother to ask how our stay was upon check out, which we found odd for a business with lots of competition close by. I guess it isn't part of their shtick at check out. Although we had a good stay we would probably consider some other accommodation next time we travel to Seattle.

Disliked: Encountered some rudeness from front desk staff.

Liked: The rooms were well kept and modern. The price was reasonable and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: Parking was tight and there were very little options for food in the neighborhood after 11PM.

Just perfect for our needs!

Liked: The location was perfect - just a short ride away from all the places we wanted to visit. We wound up getting upgraded to a beautiful room right around the corner from our traveling companions. The gentleman at the front desk during the day was AWESOME!!! Can't say enough about how helpful and pleasant he was. The second gentleman who handled the breakfast room and was also at the front desk was also amazing. He got us a van to the airport when our original ride fell through. Everything was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong staying here.
Disliked: Really no negatives - highly unusual to be able to say that!!!

Liked: Clean, comfortable, good location and very accommodating. David the reservationist allowed us to check in early as they had a clean room available. Very considerate and appreciated. Good price that included a decent breakfast.
