La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seattle Downtown

Liked: My sister and I had side-by-side suites. They were very spacious and very-well appointed.
Disliked: Some early-morning construction was somewhat disturbing but we later learned that ear plugs were available at the front desk.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet hotel. Within walking distance to virtually everything.

Liked: Location was ideal.
Disliked: Water temperature fluctuated.

We arrived mid day on Amtrak and went to see if the hotel desk could hold our bags until check in time - no problem. At that time the gentleman at the desk advised we could check back in an hour or two and our room should be ready. We weren't expecting or asking for an early check in, but when we came back after a few hours we were treated very rudely, told that we should call to see if the room was ready for check instead of bothering them in person. We were quite taken aback by that! That said, it was very busy with lots of folks checking in for the Seahawks game. Otherwise everything was great! So close to liquor store, Whole Foods, great restaurants; walkable to Pioneer Square, Pike Market; quick taxi to Paramount Theatre. Front desk didn't bother to ask how our stay was upon check out, which we found odd for a business with lots of competition close by. I guess it isn't part of their shtick at check out. Although we had a good stay we would probably consider some other accommodation next time we travel to Seattle.

Disliked: Encountered some rudeness from front desk staff.

Liked: I like the breakfast but on our second day they were out of yogurt.. But the person who's prepping and refilling the breakfast room did a good job.
Disliked: It was too loud early in the morning, somebody's doing construction work ,,not to sure if it was in the building or the neighborhood. But too loud. The bathroom needs renovation including the lighting ,

Liked: Comfortable room. Quiet, safe location in reasonable walking distance of Seattle attractions. Helpful reception staff. Cheap taxi shuttle ($10 per person) available to port for cruise passengers. Availability of a free breakfast, if required.

Liked: Property was clean and room was spacious. Most of staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was not a bad mix of foods. Location clean and safe to walk around - easy walk to Space Needle area.
Disliked: Nowhere in the bathroom to put clothes while you shower - would benefit from some sort of bench in the bathroom.
