Not a bad stay. Staff...

Liked: Breakfast was plentiful and room was clean. Location was great.
Disliked: Rude front desk staff. Shower basin made too much noise and felt as if floor was going to cave in. No warning or information provided on the minor construction in lobby.

Disliked: Our room was next to the breakfast area. It was a little loud in the mornings

Liked: Bed was comfortable and the room spacious.
Disliked: Room was too dark and dreary. Internet was hard to connect and the front desk people needed to help me and others. They admitted that the internet was weak at times. Continental breakfast wasn’t as good compared to others we’ve had. Facility is still under construction. We were there on the weekend so we didn’t hear any noise but wonder what it would be like if you were staying during the week and trying to work? I still think it’s ridiculous that you’re charged for parking when you already pay a hefty price for the room.

Liked: The only good things were breakfast and breakfast staff. The beds were comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel was under construction. The entire front facade, pool area, and side were shrouded in plastic and scaffolding. The 5 people, 2 behind desk and 3 more standing by at check-in counter ignored us for several minutes when we checked in, it was an ackward and unfriendly start to our stay. Our bathroom had no working fan or exhaust fan. The room did not have a window that could open. The room felt like soup and smelled like poop due to no ventilation. We called front desk right after check-in about no fan and they sent workers who did nothing and proceeded to ignore us for the five night stay. The jacuzzi was lukewarm. Our window looked into two bathrooms eight feet away at neighboring hotel. The room above us had children running around every single day. San Luis Obispo was absolutely wonderful! Just not this place.
