Liked: Clean and close to the places we wanted to stay. The morning breakfast was well stocked. The food good. Great hot water

Disliked: The floor in the room felt dirty. While the deadbolt wouldn’t look on the door and all night I could hear the highway all night long.

Horrible service, experience & broken...

Liked: The staff was able to find us a suitable room that wasn't dirty or occupied the 3rd time - over an hour after we initially checked in. The jacuzzi was good for the 20 minutes we had left before check out.
Disliked: 1.) Long wait to check-in2.) Staff seemed nervous and unsure of room3.) 1st Room (#352) was dirty/occupied/slept in with used towels all over the floor, bed messy, soap used & trash/drinks all over...no one answered after several calls to the office.4.) We had to walk back to the office for an event l9nger wait - to be told "we didn't know who was in that room" (#352).5.) We had to go back to our room & bring our stuff down to the office & wait in a line, again - a line of other unhappy customers with room problems, like us.6.) We finally get another room (#108).... & almost walk into the man and his dogs that had just been checked into that same room (#108).7.) We had to take our bags back with us again & go back to the office again.8.) We waited with the guy in #108 who was upset experiencing the same thing & no one was to be found for over 15 minutes in the lobby...phone ringing off the hook unanswered.9.) We were given key cards to yet another room (#109) having no time time to do what we came there for - the jacuzzi before getting ready to go out kid-free (a night we planned in advance that wasn't easy to coordinate) to a bar/club there in Carlsbad as we had early in our relationship (MEANT ALOT TO US).10.) Late in the night into early morning we kept being woken up by these large rolling hampers - we were in the back by the staff/cleaning crew etc.This ruined everything we planned, was not the room we wanted & paid for & it took us over an hour to get a decent, vacant, clean room & we had to cancel the plans that brought us to this hotel.... we live in North County SD & this was our little get-a-way... that was completely ruined. We were going back & forth to different rooms, making trips to oyr cars to get our things and even had to m9ve our cars, barely slept & woke up with 20 minutes before check-out deciding between the jacuzzi or the free breakfast.
