I go to San Antonio 4-5 times a year but I do not think I will stay at this La Quinta.
Liked: None.
Disliked: In the first room I had, the TV was broken (#417). They moved me to #315 and the bathroom was not clean and the sheets had a hole in them. And I am not sure the guy put the points on my rewards.

Not the best.
Liked: Location was good, many options for breakfast.
Disliked: I didn't like that the parking lot was small. Hard to find parking. The bed sheets and towels were ripped and stained. Such a disappointing impression. The outlets in the room were coming off and the walls just seemed old and outdated. I also didnt like the hotel only had one elevator and it took forever to arrive. I also didnt like that the one of the waffle stations was closed during breakfast. Some of the eggs were also cold.

It was a good stay...
Liked: Rooms were clean, fairly recently renovated and comfortable. Staff was helpful.
Disliked: The shower did need some updating. Breakfast was just alright. One waffle station was closed and the other was closed early.

We had a nice stay....
Liked: The room was updated, spacious and clean. It had a microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, clothes iron + iron board, which were all very handy. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The staff was very nice. The gym had more equipments than we expected, which was a good surprise. We were just a 5 min drive to restaurants and grocery stores.
Disliked: While this did not affect our overall experience, the gym room was very hot (I'd suggest installing a couple of fans in there) and the equipments needed maintenance.
