Liked: The hotel was right next to the airport, and had surprisingly good soundproofing for being adjacent to a major freeway interchange. Checkout was efficient. The room does have a loveseat, desk/chair, and a mini-refrigerator and microwave.
Disliked: Construction was going on right above our floor, and between 10 and 11 am a horrifically loud sawing/grinding noise started up over my room every morning that I was there (3 mornings). The furnishings are worn, and the hand towels/washcloths very thin.The pool was an off-putting algae-green and cloudy, although the last couple of days I saw families using it trying to beat the heat. Be aware that construction is currently going on all over the hotel. The thermostat on the wall in the room does not yet work and the existing wall unit struggled to provide cooling/ventilation to the room.. The military is also currently using this hotel as a mustering location for new recruits and a large number of young and nervous adults were wandering the halls.
