La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh Cary

Our room was warm and clean. The mattress and pillows are very comfy. Overall, this is a great place to stay. Very well located and clean and warm. I recommend.

Disliked: The air handling system runs ALL NIGHT LONG. This means you have cool air blowing on your face all night long. We could not figure out how to turn this off.

Liked: It was great; close to concert; very clean and good food!

For the 1 night stay...

Disliked: The fact that the rooms are not very sound proofed. And unfortunately we had rude and loud neighbors.

Superb

Liked: It was really nice, room was clean.
Disliked: Pool was closed

La Quinta met our needs.

Liked: Room was clean.
Disliked: We had to request clean towels, etc., which most hotels we've stayed at automatically change them out. However, once we asked for them the staff delivered them to our door.

Exceptional

Good

Liked: The location of LA Quinta was very nice. The staff was pleasant and the rooms were clean.
Disliked: Although the rooms were clean (with the exception of my refrigerator), the hotel was under renovations. Additionally, the breakfast left something to be desired.

It was ok only because...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. Staff at front desk was nice. AC unit in the room was powerful which i really appreciated. Plenty of parking. Nice area and shopping centers were at walking distance. Pet friendly.
Disliked: I booked a king size bed, but they didn't have any available so they gave us a double queen. The bathroom door didn't close (it was almost falling from the frame). The hotel was doing some remodeling so the hallways were dirty and in general the facilities were not as expected. Breakfast was not that good. Pool was not open.

Bad

Disliked: The place smelled terrible, the front desk woman couldn't get it together and seemed lost. The elevator was like out of a scene in Hostel and the hotel inside was just not good. The building is under renovation in some spots and I did not get the room I wanted regardless or booking ahead of time and the wifi did not work at all.

Disliked: Construction around the hotel/ body wash not refilled/ hair on the toilet
