Liked: I liked the location and the staff were very friendly. 24 hour pool was super nice, I've never experienced that before but it was great.
Disliked: Our AC unit sounded like it was on its last leg, and the sound of it struggling woke me up several times. We also had a few bugs get into the room from seemingly nowhere, the window was closed.

Liked: The reason I rented this place was because it had an all-night jacuzzi and a pool. My mother's funeral was a few days ago I wanted to spend time with my daughters. But when I walked in the smell was awful one of the beds was incredibly uncomfortable the bathroom was not clean and the plug didn't work. There was no way to watch television in less we did pay on demand movies instead of using our own accounts as we do another hotels for Hulu or Netflix or prime. Really really not worth $139, $75 room, At best.Yes I'm grieving yes I've had a tough week but I travel most months of the year and I'm used to good quality hotels for not that much money.I'm not looking for the Hilton but I expect the room to not smell like people have been smoking ganja in it and it's been covered up by air freshener the carpet was definitely not cleaned for a long time. Smelly

Highly infested with roaches, and...

Disliked: Roaches running throughout the entire room. On the floors, tables, walls, and throughout the bathroom. I highly believe the thick pile of food crumbs behind the bedside tables weren’t much help to the infestation problem. We had to ask the desk for a vacuum to suck up the bugs after we were told we can either choose to stay in the room or go find another hotel to stay at, which we weren’t able to do because we didn’t settle into the hotel until about midnight (we were coming back from a comedy show at the moda center, we checked in quick, set down our bags in the room then caught an uber to the show). We were promised a full refund by one of the managers I believe we spoke to daisy and Megan, but we still have yet to receive a refund for the stay. One gal (I believe daisy) was definitely more understanding and wanting to give us our refund and the other seemed like it was a regular thing and didn’t seem to mind much. The young guy at the front desk seemed sorry that we were dealing with the issue but made it very clear that this is normal and there isn’t anything that could be done about it and that he wasn’t getting paid enough to do anything or try to resolve the issue. The only nice thing was that I was able to try and relax and forget about the bugs at the pool before i tried to sleep, (I didn’t sleep though, whenever I opened my eyes there was a roach on the bedside table and I was worried one would be in the bed) but even then there was what looked like chicken strip batter pieces all over the outside of the pool and in the rinse off shower. The whole place needs a full on deep clean. I’ve been to some pretty dingy hotels and motels and can handle some hairs and a few missed spots when vacuuming a carpet, but this was nasty.

A good value stay in...

Liked: Good location and easy parking, nice lady on reception, good sized room and reasonable breakfast. Had stayed in a La Quinta before so knew what to expect, would use the brand again.
Disliked: N/A

Liked: It had everything for a great price. Clean rooms, close to downtown, free parking, 24hr pool and free breakfast. Would be booking again next time in Portland
