La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orem University Parkway

Convenient location, disappointing service.

Liked: Room: Room was clean. Bed felt like it was going to be uncomfortable but it turned out to be fine.
Disliked: Hotel staff was not prepared for a large influx of people for graduation. Check-in took at least 15 minutes for me. Based on the conversation I overheard from the staff, rooms that had been cleaned and ready for occupancy had not been marked so in their system which caused a delay in getting rooms assigned to people.Wi-fi was so slow that it was unusable (6 Mb down, 1.5 Mb up).Bathroom: The sink barely drained. I sure I could have filled the sink with the drain open.Breakfast: Definitely a step down from the last time we stayed there. Only ate breakfast the first of our three days because of the type and quality of offerings.

Wouldn't stay there again.

Liked: We arrived at 4:30 a.m. the front desk was very nice.
Disliked: You can hear the water pipes rattling in the night. There was a late night "rave" at an abandoned building on our last night. Shower water was cold one of the days.

Disliked: Wi-Fi is really slow.

It was OK. Not great.

Liked: Breakfast area was very crowded. No place to sit, so we left. The room was clean.
Disliked: The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Very noisy outside and inside.

Liked: It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to what our plans were.
Disliked: On the last evening, we didn't have access to the pool. There was an issue from the previous evening. To no fault of the establishment. Just a bummer.

Liked: The guest room key cards were very sensitive and denied access to my room on occasion. I believe the air filter in my room had not been replaced for a while. I had sinus issues only while I was in my room.
