Disappointed with condition of room

Liked: Good breakfast; easy access to I-35 to continue our journey; comfortable mattress
Disliked: Towels and bed linens were not clean! They contained hair! Remote control was filthy with dried food over the entire surface. Wondering if room was not cleaned at all?? We have stayed at many LaQuintas in the past, most recently in Durham, NC in May. This is our first experience with unclean conditions. So maybe it's just an outlier??

Liked: Room was quiet and comfortable and breakfast was good and offered a few choices. There was a gentleman taking care of the breakfast bar and kept tables clean for arriving guests.
Disliked: The elevator worked but very noisy and Jerry. May need a little maintenance to operate smoothly and quiet.

Liked: Beautiful facility and great price!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will return. Continental breakfast was good with lots of options.

Liked: I was hesitant to stay at a LaQuinta—we stayed at one in Idaho and it was the worse hotel of our trip. This one, however, was amazing—I would recommend it to people. Everything was great—quiet on a weekend, clean everywhere, spacious room, great breakfast, comfortable bed. I also appreciate you hire people with special needs to work the breakfast station. Some of the hardest working folks you will ever meet.
Disliked: If you left the lid open on the toilet, sometimes a sewer smell was present. We were on a middle floor—maybe that had something to do with it.
