La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Haven

Disliked: Someone tried to get into our room during the night. If we didn't have the security bar across the door, they would've been able to because they had a key. When my husband brought it up to the front desk, they said "Sorry. That was our manager checking the rooms." What?! Insane. Awful experience.

Clean and comfy room and a friendly staff.

Horrible stay left a day...

Liked: The elevator was not working had to walk up and down the stairs, not safe for anyone. Left a day before because of inconvenience, microwave in room did not work. Window had dead flies and was not clean . Would like a refund for my stay
Disliked: Elevator was not working , hotel was under construction and had to walk down with my luggage . Would like a refund for my stay.

Great Hotel: outside noise was...

Disliked: There is a small parking lot that is a stone’s throw in front of the hotel no more than 300 yards off the property. I’m not sure if it was a car in that parking lot or the La Quinta parking lot but from 8pm til about 4am the music was blasting. No one was able to do anything and it may not have been the fault of the hotel. However, since nothing could be done, i would never take the the chance of booking there again. Honestly, I was too tired and just put a pillow over my head. I’m from the Bronx so idc much about loud music but such a beautiful hotel and view and to hear this until all hours of the morning smh. Hotel staff were awesome. It made me think that some people (not the staff though) must be so self absorbed that they are unconcerned with any form of life but their own on this planet.
