La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Haven

Disliked: Someone tried to get into our room during the night. If we didn't have the security bar across the door, they would've been able to because they had a key. When my husband brought it up to the front desk, they said "Sorry. That was our manager checking the rooms." What?! Insane. Awful experience.

Clean and comfy room and a friendly staff.

Liked: Nothing we didn't stay matressd was discussed blood stain broken dirty hair in the shower elevator we have to call so they can come and get us going up or down crazy
Disliked: We went to another hotel Hyatt

The price is to high...

Liked: I was able to book it last minute without any issues. The Room was fine and the bed comfortable.
Disliked: The Staff is rude and very reluctant to help. The elevator was broken to the extent of always needing to call the front desk so they can task someone to operate it for you. This became very annoying.My Room key stopped working after each night

Liked: Closeness to the train station.
Disliked: The night attendant was very rude. I came from the airport and the elevator was out of service. I had to carry 3 50lb suitcases up to the sixth floor by myself. Found out in the morning he could have utilized the elevator but was being lazy and there was an open room on the 4th floor!!!. I was given a hr late checkout but then the housekeeper was banging on the door like a crazy person!!! I've stayed at this location several times... But this time was an absolutely Terrible stay!!

Liked: The location of the hotel is good. Close to Yale campus.
Disliked: Hotel is run down. In order to use the elevator you have to call the staff to operate it for you. The room has a seedy / dirty feel. Loud music coming from a neighboring venue somewhere until 3am. The room I got did not match my reservations and what I paid for. I paid for a fold out couch for my 5th person, and while there was a fold out couch, there was no space for it to open, so the person had to scrunched up in a half opened sofa bed.

Disliked: The elevator wasn't working properly. It needed a staff member to operate it resulting in long wait times. One of the front desk staff was unnecessarily rude not only to me to but other guests as well. He called a woman 'sir' and did not apologize when she questioned him about it.

Liked: Great room! Clean & comfortable!
Disliked: Having to be escorted up and down on the elevator was somewhat inconvenient but they do what they have to do!
