Was convenient for my trip...

Poor
Liked: Everything was fine with one BIG exception.
Disliked: Front desk attempted to enter my room at 11:45pm with a key, stating they did not have a guest listed for my room! Tried multiple times to get the door open. I let them know they were at the wrong room. Finally they said it was the front desk and asked me to spell my last name. Thinking back, I shouldn't have given it but I did. Thankfully I had the extra lock engaged. Then 10-30 min later they called, waking us again. I told them I would talk to them the next day but they never followed up. It was scary. I was there with my 85 yr old Mother who was quite shaken. Actually I was also very upset by it.called manager when I got settled back home and was given only a 30% discount on that one day (we stayed 2 nights). I really expected more but the other option I was given was for 5000 points in my La Quinta account. When asked the manager could not tell me what 5000 points was worth. He said he had only been there a month. I told him if I had not engaged the secondary lock he might have had a badly injured employee. Walking in a dark room at midnight in any city is dangerous. They should have waited to discuss the matter in the morning or at the least should have called the room first.

Disliked: We could not use our bathroom or take showers . The guy finally came to fix it by 9:00. We were almost late for our grandsons funeral
