La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Milwaukee South West New Berlin

Very easy to get to from highway 41 and 43. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. Nothing fancy, but overall, a good deal.

Disliked: Hotel is aging and it shows a bit.

Needs improvement

Liked: Right off the highway and food amenities nearby
Disliked: There were spider webs in the corners of our room and in the hallways. The back door was stuck open and anyone could just walk in. The hot tub needs less chemicals, it changed the color of our Swimsuits.

Liked: Location was great. Room size was perfect. It had everything we needed.
Disliked: Front desk individual seems not happy to assist specially when we had to go back to the front desk to have are room keys reprogrammed.

Liked: The facility appeared clean, but the decor is dated.. Staff were friendly. Rooms were comfortable and very quiet. We received housekeeping every day, which was a plus.
Disliked: Breakfast was on the low end of the scale. Limited choices. No sugar-free syrup which has always been available at other facilities. Only coffee available was out of a dispenser machine. Water was provided if you walked to the lobby and got the tiny cups available.The only elevator available to guests was shut down for two hours for scheduled maintenance at a busy time in the morning. We were not even notified by staff.

Find a better option!

Liked: The location wasn’t bad.
Disliked: The room wasn’t ready at check in. There were spiders in the room. Mold was present in the shower. There were stains in the carpet. It smelled like the used a 55 gal drum of fabuloso to cover up smells. So for the price it wasn’t worth it. They jacked up the price for a concert which I understand as a business person, but at least get the place straight.
