Liked: Close to where I needed yo stay. Price was reasonable. Rooms are decent.
Disliked: The only ice machine was up by the lobby and it was a long walk for me to get ice, I am disabled and was put on ground floor until the AC quit at 11 pm. They moved me to another room up on the 2nd floor which made my walking harder to get outside. All of the outside doors with keypads never worked so had to always go all the way to front to get back inside when I was located close to the back of hotel. Just needs better maintenance!!!

Disliked: The facility was extremely dirty. We arrived at 8pm and had to wait to get checked in as there was no one at the front desk. The employee that came to the desk was not friendly and spoke as little as possible. The side entrance was propped open both times we used it. The room itself was run down and dirty. The hotel smelled like dirty moldy water in the hallways and the elevator had a wet floor sign in it our whole stay and the floor had something all over it. Staffed just threw the sign in the elevator and left. We were unable to use the shower due to the overgrowth of mold in it. The carpet in the room felt damp to the touch. When we booked online we did look at pictures but apparently it was for the south location which we mistakenly was directed to from the online portal. When we got to the south location we were informed that we were at the wrong location. Definitely felt like we were mislead. The second location was not at all what the photos looked like online. I would definitely have not booked if I knew how dirty it was. The pool was greenish in color and had bugs all in it. When I checked out the staff spoke as little as possible and did not thank me for my stay or ask how it was. Will not stay with La Quinta ever again.

Liked: The beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Lubbock has a ton of hotels to choose from so I filtered for a hot tub, the pool and hot tub were closed for “cleaning”, although everything looked fine. The carpet in the halls was nasty, the card lock on the door was difficult and took 5-6 attempts to get it to unlock despite the light being green. The faux wood floor in the room felt greasy. The whole place felt dirty. The disposable tray that held the in room coffee didn’t fit properly and needed Macguyvering.

Disliked: The key card system that open the doors stops working after 1 day. This requires to reprogram every day.Suggest a key card system that lasts at least as long as the reservation.
