Disliked: Hotel in severe need of updates, general maintenence. Hardly any staff on-site. Cancelled overnight reservation because credit card machine not working. Desk asked us to pay cash up front. That was a definite NO for us.

Liked: The night housekeeper on our last night was extremely nice.
Disliked: The description stated that breakfast was provided, however, when we arrived to the property there was a sign stating that they don't provide breakfast. The pool was closed. There was hair on the bathroom floor and in the tub. Our room key didn't work and we went to the front desk to have it reprogrammed and there was no one at the desk. We waited for about 15 minutes before the front desk person finally came inside to help us as well as another guest. There were only 2 of each size towels in the room and when I requested more, there seemed to be an issue. However, the night housekeeper on our last night gave us towels and soap with no hassle. The toilet was hard to flush. There was thick dust everywhere that we cleaned as well as the bathrooms with hair that we cleaned ourselves. I had never experienced such poor service at any La Quinta Inn that I have ever stayed at.

Liked: The hotel staff was friendly and the beds were super comfortable.
Disliked: They were out of coffee filters, there was no hand soap, the shower was painfully strong, and didn’t offer the advertised breakfast. A little more attention to detail and it would have been great.

Liked: Price: excellent. Person at check-in efficiently moved us to another room when presented with the problem
Disliked: The first room we were assigned, the toilet wouldn't flush properly; in fact there was still S*** from a previous occupant floating around. The hallway carpets need replacing. They are very dingy and tattered. We were expecting a hot breakfast with waffles, etc. A sign at the front desk said they were not offering breakfast at this time. The person who checked us in said the refrigerator had died Similarly, the ice machine and pool was not functioning.There was a homeless person sleeping in the lobby the next morning and there was no one at the front desk to do anything about it.

Disliked: Usually the hotel is great. This visit, the room hadn't been cleaned, maid marked clean, the ac didn't work in the room, so hot and stuffy, the pool was closed, water was mucky and the fridges were out ,so no breakfast.
