La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Las Cruces Organ Mountain

Put into a smokers room. Took three requests to have air freshening sprayed in room. TV would not come on, no one ever came to fix it. Had to sleep with bed cover removed due to smoke smell. Not a good stay.

Disliked: Not a "typical" La Quinta breakfast - no eggs (except hard boiled), no bacon or sausage.There was no easy access to a receptacle for plugging in a computer. I had to move the desk to get access to one.

Liked: Good location for roadtrip travel. Beds were so comfy and tons of parking.
Disliked: Could be cleaner, blow dryer smelled like burning so I couldn’t use it, but still a good spot for a quick overnight.

OK for a Night but...

Liked: Good location. Clean but the property is a bit long in the tooth. There is a new La Quinta across the road so it looks like this one is being phased out. Not bad but just old and not well maintained
Disliked: Air conditioning in our room was not cold enough. No gym. Hallways in upper floors were not air conditioned. Older hotel with minimal upkeep to keep it operational

Very depressing place to stay.

Disliked: Just about everything. Place needs a complete renovation! Carpet had bare spots and was tearing away from edges throughout hotel. Broken tiles near lobby. Room looked more like a college dorm room.Cheap!
