La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kingsport Tricities Airport

Service was great. Clean and neat and very well kept facility. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. These folks should be proud of their staff and their facility.

Liked: It was great.

Bad

Liked: There truly isn't anything positive to say about this location. Worst hotel experience of my life.
Disliked: Damage everywhere inside and out of the building. Mold in our shower, terrible lighting, NOTHING in the snack shop except one can of beans, breakfast was terrible, the hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

Convient location, but less than...

Liked: Location and water pressure / temperature. Arrived at 1:30 PM and asked for early check in which was available. Front desk person was cordial.
Disliked: Hotel is outdated and needs updating. Stayed in room 514, bed is on a metal box and made a banging noise every time you got in or out. Room was dirty looking with cracks with black marks (possibly mold) in many areas. Sheets were clean (did not smell) but had stains. One bath towel was worn and had a three inch hole in the middle. Rug felt wet the entire time, even with the ac on. Breakfast was minimal at best. Biscuits were rock hard and only peanut butter and jelly available for the toast / bagels.

Bad

Liked: Very close to where we need to be
Disliked: Being charged twice for our stay.. I prepaid through my app.. but when I arrived at the hotel there had been no payment.. in order to check in I had to pay again… still waiting for a refund of one my payments

Perfect

Liked: It was a lovely stay.
Disliked: It was great.

Exceptional

Liked: Great stay, but no shuttle servive to and from airport any more, That was the main reason we stayed there , but the hotel did great.
Disliked: No shuttle service

Disappointing

Liked: The location
Disliked: The pool was out of service by that I mean it was never opened ,it looked like Rooms were rent out by the month. It smelled in our room. The a/ c never cooled the room down. If I were booking .com I would stay clear of this hotel very very disappointed.

Dirty, pool closed.

Liked: Location was convenient
Disliked: The pool was not open, even though it said so on the booking.com website. The lady at the front desk said it was closed for maintenance. Didn’t look like they ever had it open at all. Still covered and no outdoor furniture around. The parking lot dirty with trash. Got a room with a balcony overlooking the closed pool. Can even close the sliding door to balcony because there was no handle on the outside. Bathroom not swept, toilet with dried urine and hair, obviously not cleaned. I didn’t call the front desk. Cleaned it myself, that’s why I travel with disinfecting wipes.

Disappointed

Liked: The location was great.
Disliked: Because on the website had pool, we got there they said the pool is close for the year. False advertisement

Good for the price

Liked: The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a good size.
Disliked: The pool was closed, dead cockroach in the dresser drawer was sceptical. They really need to work up on some of the things. The wall in the hallways was peeling.
