Tamara, Wheatfield, visiting 8 Seconds Saloon

Staff was very helpful. Rooms very clean and beds were comfortable. The decor in rooms was beautiful. Will differently stay here again when I visit for concerts at 8 Second Saloon!

The only pleasant part of this hotel experience was the front desk lady when we first checked in. We check in and get up to our room and to our surprise there was black dog hair on all of the beds! Also no phone in the room - we went down and complained so they switched us to a room across the hall. We get into that room and the air conditioner was running - the room was absolutely freezing so we turned the heat on and again to our surprise it smelled absolutely horrible, like it was on fire. The smoke detector in the room went off - no staff member came up to check on us! There were also millions of tiny ants crawling all around the dresser and end table. The girls and I got ready and went out. When we got back to our room later that night we walked into the entire dresser covered in ants, so I went downstairs and asked for a refund. The lady wouldn't give me a refund but said we could switch rooms, so yet again we went to a new room and yet again ants! We decided to pack our things and drive home that night. Very dirty hotel and the lady working the desk at night was a nightmare to deal with. I will never stay there again and I absolutely do not recommend it. Honestly the place should be shut down.

A war zone

Liked: This place is horrible, boarded up doors & windows, broken security doors, poor lighting, dirty, mold in bathrooms, broken toilet, etc! I would NEVER stay here again

You get what you pay...

Liked: The front desk staff was friendly, plenty of parking, and the water pressure was good.
Disliked: The hotel is run down and dirty. The ice machines are covered in garbage, slime, stains, 2nd floor smelled like someone died. We thought we turned down a closed off hall by mistake since doors were open and the rooms had mounds of garbage, old furniture piles, debris. Nope, they just forgot to close those doors, but it was indeed our hall. Breakfast was basically a waffle on a dirty iron or stale cereal or bread. No one came by to clean. Not once. We had to beg for towels and tp. Dead roach on the bathroom floor , maintenance began working outside scrapping / construction right outside our room starting at 6 am. Who does that!?! It's not condemning, but its not worth the price they ask either. Do better or lower your price to match the scummyness.

Nice staff, rough rooms

Disliked: Our room had bugs. Looked like a roach, probably was a roach. We told the front desk and they quickly helped us get a different room, which was great service.The new room's floor was soaked by the condensation of the air conditioner and made my socks wet when I walked over it. It smelled potentially moldy.We were too tired to fuss further and we were only staying for a day so we just slept and checked out the next day.Not my favorite experience. Very kind staff though.

Disliked: Indianapolis La Quinta - 7/23/2025Below is a review of our stay on 7/23/20251.While checking in I was informed that there was no elevator on the property. I told the young woman that, that was unacceptable, since both my husband and my self were 76 years old and could not lug 2 suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. She did change our room to the first floor.2. There was no advertised airport shuttle. In order to make our 6am flight, the night manager had to take us in his private van at a cost of $5 each.3.The desk chair had one wheel missing, making it unusable.4.There was only 1 towel, 1 face cloth, and no hand towels.5.The room was very humid. Everything in it was damp. Sheets, towel, carpet.6.Walking across the carpet I ruined a pair of socks, making the bottom of the socks a dark brown and wet. I threw them away.7.Even though we were not going to use the pool, it was closed. The cover was littered with all kinds of stuff.8.No hangers in the closet.9.No - Do Not Disturb sign.10.There was an ice machine/ vendor machine in the hallway that was leaking, with dirty rags left lying on the floor in front of it.We have stayed at LaQuinta's many times over the years and have always had a reliable stay. Needless to say, after this experience we will never stay at another one.

Wasn’t satisfied at all. Never...

Liked: Cheap price.
Disliked: Seems like an abandoned motel. Bathrooms were dirty, looks like there’s no staff that cleans. I didn’t like it at all, and no elevator to take your things up to the room.
