Ok to stay, but beware...

Liked: Quiet. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: They are remodeling and 1/2 finished everywhere. Construction dust and no baseboards, 1/2 painted room. We booked a non a/c room accidentally, and they asked if we wanted to upgrade to a/c for $136 more for a 2 night stay. Booking graciously cancelled that reservation (I had no idea that would be offered in Houston) and we made another reservation for an a/c room for same amount as the non a/c room. The breakfast offered was slim. We declined breakfast. But..despite all that, it was quiet and we slept comfortably.

Liked: The hotel is in a good area, close to the interstate and fast food/gas stations. They provide a dehumidifier for the room which definitely helps with how humid it was.
Disliked: It's not a knock on the hotel but it's currently undergoing renovations and the smell of paint was very strong in our room.

Liked: Property was nice next to some pretty scenery on the backside. Hotel was clean and people were nice. It felt safe and was perfect for our needs.
