Rather disappointing, and staff could...

Liked: Free breakfast was nice. Didn’t use the gym facilities, but having some workout equipment was also nice.
Disliked: Most important issue was that none of the bedding seemed clean. Since the lighting in the room was strange, you couldn’t notice at night. But during the daytime, I noticed stains an all of the bedding, which was pretty gross. When I asked for a change of bedding, the staff asked me to bring my bedding downstairs, instead of coming to the room with new clean sheets, which was odd. Only when senior staffer saw me carrying the sheets did he stop me, tell me to go back to my room, and that he’d bring the sheets over. Other issues was there was a hole in the bathroom wall that hadn’t been fixed (likely from a previous resident). The lighting in the room was strange, as there was central lights, but just 1 standing lamp in a corner of the room, and some bedside lamps. There was no remote for the air conditioning, so we couldn’t control it at all. Sometimes it would be cold and other times hot. The chair in the room was also worn down. This is not the quality I was expecting for 80$ a night. Was expecting a level above this, especially considering Houston is a relatively low cost of living area.Overall, our room wasn’t that great, and the service just felt like it could be better. Anytime I asked for something, the hotel staff suggested I go do it myself, instead of offering to get things like clean sheets and towels for me.

Disliked: Tiding up the room because it appears like it was not swept before we checked into it. The staff were friendly and amazing people though

I wouldn’t choose this hotel...

Liked: The location of the hotel was good.
Disliked: The night shift front desk receptionist was very rude. The hotel didn’t have daily room cleaning service and when requested, the front desk at night shift behaved very rudely. It was not a good experience at all.
