Liked: I have stayed at this property a few times and the last was 2 years ago. It was starting to show its age and the pet rooms I stayed in smelled a bit and the dog park stunk to high heaven. I continued to go to La Quinta facilities as it was one of the first pet friendly hotel chains and I like to be loyal, I must say I was shocked and thrilled at the remodeling and updating I found at the Gallup hotel. It was clean, smelled totally fresh and new. Rooms were beautiful, and the dog park no longer smells. Staff was great, so helpful, friendly, and professional.
Disliked: I have no complaints about this property. The only downside was the Dennys next door, was not good.

A great place to stay...

Liked: Convient to the highway. One of the last areas of civilization on our journey to Phoenix. Hotel was clean, amenities were all functional:)
Disliked: It had a sulfur smell and there was no duvet on the beds.
