La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Worth Northeast Mall

Disappointing for the price point.

Liked: The pool, spa and gym. Yeah.
Disliked: Unfortunately, when we arrived. The property's AC was broken. So it was generally overly warm anytime we left our room and felt/smelt stagnant. The room we requested with 2 queen beds was apparently unavailable so we were awarded a king and a pullout couch. Being that I was needing two queens, I got downgraded to the pullout. Which I had to make myself with a subpart set of sheets and a low quality blanket. The room was dirty. Which seemed to be dirt from two previous stays. The pictures are from the first arrival into the room. Meaning the previous patron wrote on the door "dirty" and "eww" pointing to dirt marks from the stay before them. So that had us uneasy about the cleanliness of the rest of the room and seeing as when we entered the room there was a live roach waiting to greet us and what looked to be blood stains on the lamp shade. This all was very disappointing and I feel I was thoroughly over charged for the quality of stay I was provided. We stayed on the second floor which seemed to be the only floor where the ice machine wasn't working. Made for an extra walk through the muggy hallways to another floor for ice.

Liked: All was good. Staff was great and very helpful. Good food for breakfast.
Disliked: I had to add 2 days days and because of it being the weekend the cost was almost 2 times of what it was when I checked in. I know that what all the hotel do.

Disliked: The elevator smelled like mold! The room had a bad odor! The bed broke and was sinking in the middle 😩
