La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Lauderdale Tamarac

We thought this appeared more like a weekly rental for people who could not get a house or apartment. In the elevator at 3:00 A.M. someone else came on and we did not even go to our room after getting off elevator until the door closed. Almost $100 for the room and not even any hair products. Room was way overpriced.

Disliked: Checking in there were many undesirables hanging around the outside.

The stay was enjoyable.

Liked: The welcome extended by the staff as well as the helpfulness made all the difference!
Disliked: Breakfast timeframe could be extended by at least thirty minutes.

Bad

Disliked: The AC was not working properly and the room keys we was not working. I had to go the front desk 3 times before the security came with the master key. Really poor experience.

Disliked: The location everyone just walked in people smoking all over pool was very much unclean the room the plugs was not working neither was the AC when asked for someone to look at it I was told later but it never came

Disliked: The experience was a 1. Our room had very little AC so the room was only decent temperature at night.The AC fan did not seem to be working properly and made loud noises thru the night. I paid for a Queen and was given a room with a FULL size bed. I never got towels after giving the house keeper my used towels and I had to ask the front desk who seemed to have an issue with giving me TWO towels. I didn’t get a towel for the floor or hand towels or wash clothes just TWO towels for my husband and I. The room was never cleaned when we left Saturday and returned to full trash cans and the same sheets. The pool was dirty so we did not want to use it and the hallway smelled horrible. The rooms were completely booked out so we couldn’t even change our room. The hallways were always filled with cleaning carts and taking up walking space. Very unorganized and not kept to a good standards. The outside parking lot filled with trash and over flowing trash cans and ppl living on the streets loitering. The worst hotel stay. I am traveling back Friday Aug 1st and I will not book with this location again. Thank you.

Sufficient enough to sleep.

Liked: The staff was accommodating.
Disliked: There were no toiletries, i.e. lotion which most hotels have and the breakfast was terrible.

Liked: The breakfast was good and the cleaning and breakfast staff were friendly
Disliked: My door did not shut, even if I locked it and I had to go back-and-forth switching rooms.
