I won't stay there again....

Disliked: The breakfast was NOT okay for a diabetic. The only option was the scrambled eggs that were powdered apparently and filled with filler starch because it spiked my blood sugars terribly!!! Not safe. The hotel needs renovation BADLY.

Disliked: The room was dirty, dog hair on the carpet, hair in the bathroom & mould. The breakfast was an absolute shambles, not much to pick from, some things already gone & weren’t getting replaced. The staff were very unprofessional & rude.

Good location, but very understaffed

Liked: The location was great for us since we were doing an overnight before boarding a cruise ship. The staff was good, but severely understaffed. Breakfast was decent, but not enough food for all the cruise travelers who were wanting to eat at the same time.
Disliked: The shuttle was not good. We had a person in a wheelchair and told the hotel that when we called. We wished they had been honest with us and told us it would be way over an hour before they'd get anybody out to us. We would have just paid to have a taxi bring us. If you are traveling for a cruise, I recommend not counting on the shuttle to get you to the hotel in an expedient manner. We booked a room for three adults -- so a king bed and a sleeper sofa. There was no bedding available for the extra bed. The exposed mattress was not great and looked dirty. We were told we'd have sheets in an hour. I went down to the front desk 1 & 1/2 hours later and the sheets were apparently still in the dryer. It took easily another hour. The sheets arrived damp and weren't even the right size, but we were all so exhausted that we just took them...with no blanket offered. A family staying in the room next to us was locked out of their room while they were using the pool. They had the card...it no longer worked. They were still standing outside their room more than an hour later. The facility is ok, but they are severely understaffed. If we have another occasion to do a layover in FLL, I think we will stay somewhere else unless recent reviews show a vast improvement. I typically love staying at La Quintas...but this one was not what I'm used to experiencing when I stay there.

Disliked: Hide a bed in our suite was broken, pool was barely usable

The staffs were friendly.

Liked: Couple restaurants near by within walking distance. Breakfast was very basic but OK.
Disliked: Hotel shuttle was very confusing,. Information provided wasn't clear from the front desk. The pick up location was moved further away from the rest.

It was good for sleep,...

Liked: Rooms need deep PM. For to be in a good rating! A lot PM around the properties! Need a lot upgrade!
Disliked: For what i see, need some repairs!
