Good for a one night stay
Liked: Jacob was incredibly friendly and helpful while checking us in. We were tired after driving all day and he made sure the process was as efficient and pleasant as possible. Beds were comfortable, it looks like the rooms were updated somewhat recently (beds and TV). Great water pressure.. After staying at another hotel with terrible water pressure, we appreciated this! Also, we are traveling with our cat and the pet fee is only $25 for one night. If you are staying longer, please note that the first 3 nights are $25, totaling $75 whether you stay 3 days or longer. It was nice not paying $75 for a one night stay. Good value for the price. Did not try the breakfast but it looked like they had a number of options, including a waffle maker and scrambled eggs.
Disliked: I've read the reviews left by others... while I cannot speak to their experiences, I did not see any cobwebs or ants. Our room, while not the nicest we have ever stayed in was more than adequate for a one night stay. There was a faint yet distinct smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel. There are also a lot of places for a cat to hide. It looks like another cat made a hammock underneath the chair. If you are traveling with a pet that likes to hide, please be aware. I also do not love carpeting in hotels that allow pets. While this hotel was still cleaner than a Home2 we recently stayed at, carpeting is not preferred.
