La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Durham Chapel Hill

We came into the hotel and we were greeted and upon entering they asked our name and immediately looked up the reservation and welcomed us again. The lobby was clean and there were people watching TV. She explained where our room was and was kind enough to tell us we could drive around to park and the elevator would be real close when we opened the door and then our room would be close once the elevator opened - great. The elevator was a bit vegas style - kinda gold brushed but OK. We laughed at it.

Disliked: There was a dead insect in the room. We changed our room, but the new one had towels with someone else’s hair on them. Also, the room smelled like garlic. There were food stains on the bathroom door, which was disgusting.
