Good
Liked: it served its purpose as a transit stop.
Disliked: Reception was unmanned and we rang the bell 3 times before someone turned up.

Standard La Quinta hotel -...
Liked: Standard La Quinta hotel, close to DFW airport. We used the free shuttle bus to get from/to the airport.
Disliked: Noisy a.c. there seemed to be only 1 elevator, but luckily the hotel wasn't busy.

Liked: They had a free airport shuttle.
Disliked: The man at the front desk was sound asleep when we came to check out and get our shuttle. It took quite some doing to wake him up. They literally crammed us into the shuttle and 1 person sat in the way back with our luggage.

A comfy stay in Euless.
Liked: Bed was a bit high off the ground (I'm short) but once I got on the best it was comfy and I appreciated that there were different levels of softness for the pillows. The location wasn't too bad, there isn't much to do or eat in the area but it wasn't difficult to drive there and traffic wasn't bad either. Breakfast options weren't vast but it was appreciated that it was free. The coffee was good, eating area was small but acceptable.
Disliked: Seemed to only have one elevator and it was very slow, took the stairs a couple of times. There was no USB adaptors on lamps or outlets so I couldn't charge my phone. I had to go out and buy an adapter. There was one lamp that you could wireless charge your phone but I guess my phone was not compatible (Android Samsung) so it wouldn't charge. Also, it seemed like you needed to keep the lamp 'ON' for the phone to charge, my daughter left her iPhone on the charging station all night and it didn't charge it. Lastly, make a mental note to asking the front desk attendant which credit card is being used to pay for the room. When I booked the room I used my debit card but prior to the trip I changed the method of payment to a different card through Booking.com that apparently did not update in the hotels system. What ended up happening was upon giving the attendant my name she charged the room to the card and did not ask for a physical card. It was only when I ask if she needed to see my card that she said she already had it in the system, I then asked if I could see what card she used and noticed it was the wrong one. This resulted in me having a negative pending payment, I was able to use a different credit card which was charged right away but I still had the pending payment through the weekend which cleared up Monday night.

Pleasant
Disliked: The shuttle bus from the airport took forever to get there, called twice, was told he should be there. The shuttle itself was in poor condition, no shocks and sounded like it was going to rattle apart. Air conditioner in room was the same way, came on and rattled so hard, thought it was going to blowup. Good thing was a short layover. Parts of hotel needs to be renovated, torn carpet, etc.

Very disappointed in overall service,...
Disliked: The shuttle service we were told was available was not available that night, extra 1+ hr. wait at airport. No one at counter another wait for 30 min. Had to call to wake up person. No one at desk in morning either.
