Good Location and Value

Liked: Great location to Northwest Stadium to see Beyonce on July 7th.
Disliked: Elevators extremely slow. Let’s allowed in hotel and feces was in front of the elevator on the 2nd floor. Owner did not clean up after their dog.

Liked: The property is close to Northwest Stadium which we were visiting for a concert. It was also pretty convenient to DC (about 30 minutes to the area museums).
Disliked: I blindly selected this location as I mistakenly thought it was the same pet friendly, close to Northwest Stadium, hotel we used before; however, on arrival we realized it was not. Echoing other reviews, the rooms were not well kept and only one, very slow elevator, worked in the building. We used the stairs due to the elevator issue and noticed the stairwell smelled of urine. The air in our first room felt damp when we entered and about 15 minutes after arrival my daughter noted a wet stain on the bedding which she’d unfortunately lied in. Our room was quickly switched and the front staff were apologetic. The second room was of similar cleanliness (or lack thereof). There were notable makeup (?) stains on odd surfaces, the shower had a consistent leak, and we just felt dirty touching anything. We refused to shower onsite and chose instead to complete these activities at a nearby family member’s home. The most concerning issue is that my card was charged an additional $230+ on the day after our check in that I wasn’t aware of until we were out shopping in DC. Staff noted there was an ongoing issue with their system/night audit and that the charge would fall off (which it ultimately did) but it was a huge inconvenience and concern to be out more than $200 for the remainder of our stay.
