La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Mesquite

Desk clerk had to be awoken that night and was late for work next morning; no coffee in room and no bottled water; no one available to give us any; will not stay here again.

Liked: Room was OK.

Disliked: The shower didn't have a soap/bodywash holder. It would be great if it had one.

Liked: The location was near shopping and eating areas.
Disliked: Well what I was most disappointed at was that when I called 2 days before I came to the hotel to see if the pool was open and ready to go, because my kid was super excited about swimming, upon arrival I was told that the pool was dirty and cannot swim, my kid was very disappointed. The only reason I came to this hotel was that it was near my family home, and y'all had an indoor pool, I am actually reconsidering about my Wyndham membership, the last 3 times I have went to a Hotel by Wyndham they lied about their pools being up and going, and when I arrive at the facility the pools are close.

Liked: The bed was super comfortable, and the room was clean. The a/c worked very well. The room was quiet as well, we were at the end of the hall on the second floor. No issues with the room at all.
Disliked: The elevator looked like it could use some maintenance, but looked like they were remodeling at this time as well. Did not care for the $100 hold on my card that they already had on file, it took 4 days to be returned. The parking lot is a little bit small but there are several restaurants very close and a walmart nearby as well.
