La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Grand Prairie South

The hotel looks really nice and is in a great location - you can easily access many venues from here. The price is also very fair - a great value for this quality of hotel.

Liked: Even in the midst of construction, all was nice and comfortable. The Brightside breakfast was fresh and delicious. Staff was helpful and were interested in our comfort.
Disliked: Room was a little musty, but the A/C cleared it up a bit. You might want to look at a little better ventilation for this room. Otherwise a very comfortable and well appointed room.

Liked: It was very clean and breakfast was pretty good for hotel food
Disliked: The toilet was broken and would not refill to flush. I had to call several times and the maintenance guy came, but it was only a temporary fix as it continued to happen throughout our stay

Liked: I liked that it was close to everything. Shopping, fun, and food.
Disliked: The sleepless nights due to loud noise from above and in the hallways. Couldn’t not cancel and get a refund if not we would have left immediately.

Disliked: I will never book here again , we never stayed at our hotel because the employee (A “MANAGER”) act like he didn’t know what was wrong with our room key. We had been in the room before , and had to get an extra key that didn’t seem to work. We tried 3x along with him following us upstairs to try the door. First explanation is he said someone was probably in our room (what a good way to panic your customers when you only came as a COUPLE) . Then he states he would contact a maintenance man, so here we are TWO hours later at 2am in the morning WAITING to be in our rooms. We eventually called the police because it just wasn’t making any sense why we weren’t able to get in our room we paid IN FULL for. On top of that , we had to leave and buy another hotel because the “Manager” kept saying he had another room then 15 min later he said he didn’t have another room. It was very unprofessional , then they had the NERVE to charge me $29.99 for a late check out because we had to come back and get our things from the HOTEL WE NEVER STAYED IN and shower because we had to leave with NO CLOTHES NO NOTHING AND STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL HOURS AWAY FROM HOME!!!! I do not recommend this company , ever. Never in my life will stay here again.
