The lobby and hallway areas are under heavy renovation, filled with dust, debris, and construction materials. This was not mentioned at all during booking.2. My room was in poor condition, including:Rusty door hingesLeaking showerheadWater stains and cracks on the walls and ceilingUnsafe door lock3. The most serious issue: At around 5:00 AM, someone knocked on our door claiming to be police. They did not show any ID, and when I asked them to leave, they walked away. This was extremely frightening and felt like an attempted scam or break-in.We were traveling with children, and I felt unsafe, misled, and unprotected in this hotel.I request the following:A full refund of the bookingAn investigation into the hotel’s current safety conditionsEscalation to Booking.com’s customer protection teamI have attached photos documenting the construction and room issues and am available to provide further details.Please respond urgently.
