My overall stay was very good. I was a little nervous about staying in a room with an outside door. Hotel was unable to accommodate me otherwise. I was the last room facing the highway. With that in mind, getting back later from the theatre my key card would sporadically not function. Luckily it did work that night. Good visit; breakfast satisfactory.

Liked: Room was very comfortable.
Disliked: Key was not working.

Initial room was unclean. Dirty; urine on commode; dusty. Dogs barking incessantly. Front desk clerk was less than excited to help us out, although eventually she did give us another room. That room reaked of cigarettes but was the only room left for the night. It too was dusty and dirty but at least there no urine on the commode.

Liked: Location was great. Staff was very welcoming
Disliked: Only one ice machine in the whole building was working. Just one. 3 of them were down, and had been down for quite a while. This is routine maintenance, to me. A clear sign the building/facility is on the downward slide. There was no fridge or microwave in the room (this WAS exactly the way it was advertised on booking.com, but I hadn't looked. I just assumed).

Worst. Hotel. I’ve. Ever. Stayed!...

Liked: This place close to a marina that was kinda cool.
Disliked: Place was disgusting! Dog turd left on the floor in the corner for who knows how long. Floor, blankets and pillows felt damp and dingy. Staff was rude and would only clean the room if service was requested the night before. If you wanted fresh towels the front desk representative required we returned all our dirty towels to the front before she gave fresh towels. Only 5 working channels on the TV. Missing hair dryer had to get a replacement from the front desk. The Laundry charged and extra .25 to use credit card and not coin but there was no place insert coins. Ran the dryer 3 times for 45 min and the clothes were still damp. After breakfast concluded at 10am all coffee and hot water was put away for the rest of the day.Hallways were unkept and torn, fans in the breakfast room were wobbling and unsecured, looked like they could fall and any moment. Shower curtain in room broken and made water spay onto the floor. Voiced my concerns to the receptionist she said she wasn’t in charge of the cleaning and didn’t even offer an apology for say she will bring these issues to better their service.This place absolutely ruined my experience in Charleston

Dirty, moldy, rusty and urine.

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: There was urine on the porcelain foundation resting on the floor. Black mold on the wall and floor where there had been a refrigerator inside the TV table. Toilet did not work properly. No cable on the TV. All lamps were covered in rust spots. Large wall vent had dirt and mold on it. Some may ask why we didn’t go back to the front desk and request a new room? We arrived after 10:30pm and we were exhausted. It was for one night. I do not recommend this hotel.
