Great location to Carlsbad Caverns.

Liked: Breakfast was good. Nice facilities, clean room and friendly staff. Nothing to complain about all was wonderful at this location.
Disliked: Nothing we didnt' like. everything was great.

Solid choice for Carlsbad travelers

Liked: I really like the option that this chain gives you to do your own check-in on your cell. Saves you a bunch of time. Hotel check-in was fast. Room was big and comfortable, beds were firm, no malfunctions. Breakfast was solid. Didn't have time to check out the pool.
Disliked: My room was right next to the side door and to their very loud ice machine. This resulted in several bugs sneaking in from the outside into the room. The ice machine randomly firing up in the middle of the night made for a bit of a noisy stay. None of these things are problematic, but for the price paid per room I would not expect these kinds of issues. Next time I will request a room far away from the entrances :)
