Liked: It’s a new hotel.
Disliked: We were unable to check in until 9:00 pm. We were not the only guests who waited for hours while the laundry was being washed. I had to change my clothes in the only lobby bathroom. Don’t bother to stay at this hotel unless you want to risk sleeping in your car. I reached out to the manager and never heard back. They do not understand how to run a service business.

Cancelled Late in Evening by...
Liked: We would have liked to stay there; unfortunately, four of the five cleaning staff quit because of a dispute with the new manager, and the remaining one worked until 7 pm, leaving the management to cancel guests of 13 rooms. Our notification was sent by email at 9:16 pm.
Disliked: Because of the cancellation described above, my wife and I were left to scramble for alternative lodging at 10:30 pm. We finally located a room at a Super8 near the airport and checked in at nearly midnight. The price was nearly $250!

Good
Liked: I drove to Bozeman from Hamilton to run Montana's yearly Spartan race at Bridger Bowl Ski Area. Location was the only reason I chose this hotel. It is one block away from W Griffin Dr which leads directly to Bridger Canyon Dr.
Disliked: The problem with my stay is the fact that a staff member took my Samsung tablet. Before going to bed, I foolishly left it on the bedside table on the door side of the bed, opposite of the window side table with all my other belongings. The next morning, I gathered up everything that was on the window side table and left to go run at the Spartan race, leaving the tablet.Upon returning home at 4:30pm that same day, I realized what had happened, but did not get too upset about it. I thought it would be easy to simply call the front desk to have them retrieve my tablet and ship it back to me. The front desk attendant looked in the room for me, but related back to me that she could find nothing out of place in the room. I began to second guess myself until I looked at my device location feature on my phone. Sure enough, my tablet had been activated in the Bozeman area at about 5pm that day. Nobody else had been in my room with me, so the fact that the tablet had been activated in Bozeman shows that a staff member had found it and had opened Google on it. I spent the rest of that evening changing passwords to banking apps and other accounts. It is ultimately my fault that I left the tablet behind, but I have found other peoples wallets with money in them and other expensive items in the past. I felt a sense of urgency to find a way to return the items to their owners as quickly as possible. I can't imagine taking something like that for myself. I have to be able to resect myself. The biggest problem with people who act like this at their work, is that it creates an environment of distrust that affects all other staff members. No matter how trustworthy any particular employee is, he or she gets covered under the same blanket of suspicion caused by the single bad apple. If any La Quinta management read this, my stay was on June 20th to June 21st. The specific location was 620 Nikles Dr. My room was #105. My confirmation # was 4536171771.
