La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Birmingham Homewood

Liked: The hotel was nice and clean. It was my first time staying at a LaQuinta Inn. Staff was also helpful and friendly.

Liked: Great location; affordable; friendly staff.
Disliked: None.

Disliked: Tvs didn't work, & there were people being very loud until the early morning while we were trying to rest.

Disliked: One member of the staff a ( black man ) was rude & difficult to talk to when trying to extend our stay for another night.

Liked: Lobby was nice, room was decent.
Disliked: The room had a bathtub, it was in pretty bad shape. I asked for a room with a stand up shower but the manager would not accommodate my request. Went out to the pool and the water in the pool was greenish and very dirty. The pool area was also dirty, clothes scattered around the pool area, old outdoor tables piled up in the corner, benches in the courtyard falling apart, homeless guy hanging around the pool.

Disliked: AC didn't work through entire building. Elevator was hot,stuffy,old and scary. Vents in room were dirty, beds uncomfortable.
