La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bend

I have never had such a poor experience in all my hotel stays. I stay at hotels an average of 150 nights a year. I paid for a three night stay and stayed only one night, with refusal of a cancelation refund.

Disliked: Bed was worn out. Also plans changed at check in and counter person said they were not able to cancel the next two days stay.

We usually choose La Quinta...

Liked: Clean, good amenities
Disliked: Awful mattresses, uncomfortable No hot water because of broken boilerBroken clothes hook on bathroom doorNo soap for shower

Bad

No hot water.

Liked: It was in a central location & had most of what we needed. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: In the morning we wanted to take showers and there was NO hot water. This was pretty bad. I had to heat some water up with the coffee maker and put it in the sink but the plug didn't work so it drained out before I could hear more up.☹️

Only ok for an overnight...

Liked: Nothing really it was clean
Disliked: No Stairs to downstairs roomsBed was saggy, in-room coffee maker was broken, walls thin next door you can hear conversation thru walls, reception girl was sassy when i went at 4:45am asking for coffee and she said there is none because it is not breakfast time which was at 6am, i said coffee in room was broken she asked for our room number to have it fixed for the next guest….. We left in 20 min and ended our stay

Don’t stay here if sleep...

Liked: Good water pressure in shower. Breakfast was ok.
Disliked: We were put into a basement room. The bed folded like a taco. The walls and ceilings were paper thin. The old people above us blared cable news all night and we got about an hour and a half of sleep all night. They woke up at 3:30 am. You can HEAR EVERYTHING at this hotel!

Superb

Liked: Loved our room. We were there for Mothers Day weekend. Plenty of room for our kids and grandkids to come visit. Our great grandson was able to go swimming with grandpa. Good breakfast.
Disliked: We travel with our old Labrador. Pet area was pretty shoddy. Out side grounds were in messy.

Never stay here again

Liked: The saff was nice.
Disliked: I only booked the room because I was looking forward to the pool. The pool was closed no water in it, yet I still paid full price. Second the bed was awful in room 206. My partner served in the army, and can sleep in most places. He was unable to sleep in the bed because it was so uncomfortable. As a child my parents managed a motel. The was older, but a top priority was making sure the mattresses were in good shape. I have told all my friends and family never stay at this establishment because you would be better off paying for a night at a homeless camp.

Clean but the indoor pool...

Liked: The breakfast was good and the room was clean
Disliked: The pool and jacuzzi was being renovated which wasn’t on the booking app. I have bad legs and being in the water would have helped my pain. They gave us a discount but we were still charged the booking rate. How do we get that fixed ?
