Liked: Proximity to the highway and the included breakfast.
Disliked: The decor is outdated and it wasn’t as clean as I expected.

Liked: I appreciated the staff. Very friendly and helpful. I also really appreciated the second room that I was put in. It was clean and smelled nice.
Disliked: The first room I was put into the air conditioning was not working and the room smelled. But when I went to the front desk they immediately put me into another room. Very kind gentleman.

Great stay for business trips

Liked: Excellent stay at La Quinta in Bellingham! Room was large enough for me and a coworker (though she moved to a different room for the final night as I needed to work late, like until three in the morning). Bed was very comfortable. A-C worked well. Fridge and microwave also worked fine. Breakfast good. Staff good. Rockin' WiFi speed once I found the correct network!
Disliked: When my coworker tried the night before to extend the stay on our room, the girl at the front desk was not very helpful, being more concerned with what she was doing on her phone than helping a customer. That was irritating. So, we just booked online through Booking.com and crossed our fingers that we'd be able to keep the room an extra night rather than having to pack up, check out, do our work commitments all day, then check in again and unload everything.
