Liked: The breakfast was free
Disliked: The hot water did not work, the room smelled like wet dog, and the night shift desk person was entertaining drunk, juveniles in the reception area. When I let them know about the hot water and the dogs smell, they just said they would note it. However, first, I accidentally called the wrong location and they were offering me discount comps on my stay until we realized it wasn’t the correct location.

Disliked: An alarm noise in the room next to me about 5 AM and wouldn’t stop. I contacted the front desk and the problem was quickly handled

Exceptional

Overall, my stay was good...

Liked: The property was very clean friendly staff especially the man who helps us he was great I forgot his name but he wear glasses cool dude.
Disliked: The only I didn’t like was there was no smoking rooms had to go outside in the freezing cold to smoke and more food to eat for breakfast.

I would not stay there...

Liked: The room was large and clean. The beds were very comfortable and nice linens.
Disliked: Front desk check in was slow because staff was trying to help someone that got locked out of their room. We had problems with getting out of our door too. Getting in it worked, but the latch would jam and take several tries to get out. This is very dangerous in the event of a fire or an emergency. I brought this up with the front desk when I checked out and he said that they are aware that there are problems with the door locks. This is a corporate matter and needs to be taken care of immediately. This is not about inconveniences is about health and safety. The last La Quinta that we stayed in in Las Cruces had a 10 times better breakfast. there were no hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, and only green bananas for fruit. There was no water station set up, coffee only. we also wanted to mail a couple of postcards but was told that there was no mail drop off and there was a sign for a business center but no computer to use. The La Quinta in Las Cruces had a computer for guest use.

Reasonably comfortable but a bit...

Liked: Clean, comfortable, easy check-in and check-out. Friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: Free breakfast was hard French toast, salty and greasy little sausage links, powdered scrambled eggs. Waffles were available but we did not indulge.
