Disliked: The room had old food in the fridge, no hot water in the shower, locked out of the room several times throughout our stay and had to have keys redone. When asked to move rooms we were told no. The excuse on the hot water issue was blamed on the hotel being full. That was a weak excuse as I have had to travel all over and never had a hotel had hot water issues due to the hotel being full

Liked: I was very impressed with the hotel. It was clean and quiet with a nice pool area and outdoor seating. Pool towels were provided. The complimentary breakfast, whilst not fancy, was more than adequate to start your day well. We were particularly taken by the Texas shaped waffles! Coffee being available from 6a.m. was a big bonus. The hotel was very close to a large supermarket and a ten minute walk to very nice bars and restaurants in the Domain. It was also very close to lovely walks around Walnut Creek. The hotel was exceptional value and we would happily stay there again. Please ignore some of the negative reviews - we stayed 9 days and can’t fault it.
Disliked: In a perfect world I would have liked a hotel bar but as they don’t have one I am not blaming them.Our room was serviced once after 3 days and it might have been nice to have a second service during the next week.It is a completely no smoking hotel which seems to be the rule in Austin. As an international guest a small seated smoking / vaping area would have been appreciated but I accept the majority probably like the hotel policy.

Be prepared to change rooms.
Liked: Location is right next to the office.
Disliked: hotel is apparently closing and has no maintenance staff. so, ACs don't work or won't turn off. Both occurred.
