La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Airport

I just needed to stay for the night. Nothing spectacular. It was clean, room was nice and decent breakfast. What you would expect from a La Quinta. I would stay again.

Liked: Room was very clean; the workers were all very nice.
Disliked: The food was served until 10am, but we got down stairs to eat at 9.35 and the food was all gone.

Superb

Liked: We only stayed overnight because we had an early flight. For a small fee they let us keep our car there which saved us a lot not having to pay for airport parking.

Passable

Liked: Very much in need of updating and repairs. Outside doors are very scetchy (don’t close all the way and lock coming from parking lot). Also was pretty concerned the elevator might actually break down while we were in it. Fresh bananas or oranges or apples would be nice with breakfast for people to grab on the go that don’t or can’t eat the processed “hot breakfast”.
Disliked: The front desk guy was very nice when I checked in. OOPS, I reversed the 2 answers

Disappointing

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The restrooms were dirty, with hair stuck to the walls. During the three days we stayed there, we never received room service. The shower water was consistently too hot, the pool was empty, and the elevator was out of order most of the time.

Liked: The staff were nice.
Disliked: I booked the hotel with a pool. The pool was broken and I was told that it has been broken for months. If I would have known that the pool was broken I would have booked somewhere else. The website should let people know if hotel’s facilities are not available. Also the elevators felt like they were going to brake every time we got on them. The free breakfast was not good with powder eggs, greasy sausage, and rotten apples.

Bad smell, needs an overhaul...

Liked: Close to hotel prompt and courteous shuttle to and from airport.
Disliked: The room and hallways smelt bad.

Great stay

Liked: Convenient location, safe area and very clean.
Disliked: For us everything was great.

Pretty nice place and spacious...

Liked: Pretty clean and spacious.
Disliked: The elevator was acting funky. Also the key cards would stop working every other day.

Suited our needs for one...

Liked: Location very good . Close to the airport with shuttle bus pick up -they collected us quite quickly once we called. Staff friendly
Disliked: No noise insulation at all it seemed. Disturbed by lots of noise bot outside and inside despite asking friends the quietest room possible at reservation. Pool looked unmaintained. Windows really need replacing!
