La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Auburn Worcester

This hotel needs to be gutted and refurbished.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Room wreaked of cigarette smoke - no non-smoking rooms available; bathroom door was broken (wouldn't close); carpet filthy; hair all over the bathroom floor.

Hotel was fine for just sleeping; nice TV, bedding and breakfast.

Liked: TV; breakfast.
Disliked: None.

Disliked: The pictures do not reflect the reality of this place at all. It was dirty, had an unpleasant smell, and to make matters worse, there was constant noise and strong paint fumes in the main hallway. We had to cut our stay short because of how uncomfortable it was. Very disappointing experience — never again.

Liked: Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The people in the next room who somehow managed to talk loudly all night. When did they sleep?

Liked: Parking was nice and easy, staff was nice, room was comfy and very clean!

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast people...

Liked: The breakfast was good. However, there was no microwave for heating and cooking the instant oatmeal. My husband cooked his in the microwave in our room.
Disliked: The hotel was being remodeled and carpets were being replaced on the first floor. I know this is a necessary thing to do every few years, but we heard a lot of banging and drills grinding during he mornings and afternoons of our stay. I also realize this is something that could to be helped.

Terrible experience, WOULD NOT STAY...

Liked: Easy to find and located next to Outback Steakhouse were the only perks
Disliked: WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN! By far the worst La Quinta I have stayed. Before booking, called to verify the potential booking posted online of “double room with double beds” and was told yes, two rooms with two beds in each room, So we booked it. Got there and they give me one double room and even though I showed my booking and the SAME AVAILABLE offer on Priceline, the lady at the front desk Kat, her coworker, and the “bosses” could not give me what I booked and verified before coming. Breakfast was slim pickings. Majority of the hotel was being renovated and there was nothing on the website saying so, it looked terrible and smelled terrible! Housekeeping came to change towels and take out trash the next to last day and that was it. Terrible experience overall. Will not stay again.
