La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Perimeter Medical Center

I loved everything about our room. Very clean and comfortable; we had everything we needed. We only stayed one night for the concert. I wanted to stay longer but we had to go back home to go to work. Would definitely be an excellent place for a weekend getaway.

Liked: The breakfast was ok, just a little packed. Coffee was good that was the best part about it I'd have to say they try at least to make your stay enjoyable. The staff is nice enough.
Disliked: The pool was not open and didn't look as if it had been opened in a long time. We had a room full of kids and no pool. It should say at least on the website there is no pool

Disliked: Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was far from what we expected. From the moment we arrived, we encountered issues that made the stay uncomfortable and at times unsafe.We started off by struggling to get into our room because the door wouldn't open properly, we had to physically slam it open. Once inside, we noticed the window lock was broken. Being on the first floor, this was a serious safety concern as we were unable to secure the room.Things only got worse when I used the fitness center. The treadmill abruptly stopped in the middle of my workout with no warning, which could have caused serious injury. Equipment that malfunctions like that is a huge liability and needs urgent attention.To top it all off, housekeeping knocked on our door before checkout and told us we needed to leave, even though we still had 15 minutes left. It felt rushed and unprofessional.I have never felt the need to leave a review, but there were just too many issues during our stay. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements for future guests.

Disliked: This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I stayed at LaQuinta by Wyndham Atlanta Perimeter Medical from July 12–14 and was charged a $150 security deposit FOUR times — totaling $600, on top of already paying $315.29 in full for the room before arriving. These extra charges froze my debit card and put my account in the negative while I was out of town.When I brought it to the front desk’s attention, I was told “the charges would fall off.” They didn’t. After checkout, I called to speak with management and was connected to assistant manager Shanda, who cut me off mid-sentence and told me she “didn’t have time to discuss it” and that I’d have to do a three-way call with my bank to resolve it. Extremely unprofessional.Room 710 was filthy, had water damage, and the bathroom door handles were broken. The alarm clock randomly went off at 6am both mornings, even though we never set it. I booked this hotel specifically for the amenities, and that was a complete letdown. The jacuzzi was out of order and covered with rotten plywood — it looked unsafe and completely neglected. The pool area was filthy, and there were no chairs to sit or lay out.The continental breakfast was just as disappointing — the food was cold, the area was unsanitary, and they used open containers for waffle batter and juices, which felt unhygienic and unsafe.It’s been three weeks since my stay, and I’ve reached out to Wyndham Corporate multiple times, and no one has responded. This hotel completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend getaway, and I’m still dealing with the financial stress it caused. I have photo evidence of everything and will continue to escalate this.
