I didn’t stay! Smells bad

Liked: The front desk lady was nice
Disliked: It smelled like mold on 2nd floor! I thought I was going to die! I requested a refund

Not what I expected!

Liked: The breakfast was decent and fresh each morning.
Disliked: The staff wasn't proactive in correcting the stay- we were without air for the first night, there was a leak with the air-condition unit and we were left to clean it up on our own. There was a stench in the hallway and the neighboring room's dog barked all night long. We were transitioned to a new room the next day after check-out but I had to go downstairs and ask for the transition. It was more of a downgrade than a lateral move, because we lost square footage in this room. The cleanliness of both rooms was not up to par there was lingering hair in the showers. In the middle of the night the power went out while I was showering. This unfortunately did not meet my standards. I would have like for this property to be a bit more proactive with ensuring we were satisfied. And offer some form of compensation for such an uneventful weekend. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

Liked: Room was big so plenty of space for the family. Breakfast was good and served at a good time.
Disliked: It was a bit more dated than last time we were here. Not sure why but it just wasn’t as clean as last time. I did the express check in online but it didn’t seem to make a difference. I was still asked to sign all the same things I had already signed online in person. I also had already input all my card info online and was asked to pay again at the hotel. It was just inconvenient having to go back out to the car to get my husbands card and go back in to give them the same info again. Was stressful after a very long drive to have to do everything all over again instead of just get the room keys as I thought.
